Fall Grants

Fall Grants

As our endowment continues to grow, so will our capacity for grant making. Each Fall, Stillwater Area Community Foundation has issued grants to area nonprofit organizations. The focus of our grants varies from year to year. Sometimes we have an unrestricted call for applications. Other years, based on the input we receive from community leaders and area nonprofits, the foundation opts to narrow the application process to focus on some pressing challenges.

2023

The Foundation is pausing our Fall Grant for 2023 to better understand how we can have a greater impact with our giving.

Previous awards

2022 Public Health & Safety

$5000 was awarded to Bayport Police Department to re-establish the Police Department Canine Program. 2021 - A Healthy Post-Pandemic Community

The focus of our Fall Grant for 2021 was to address the impacts of the pandemic on the overall health of our friends, neighbors, and the greater community. The grant focused on addressing community health and wellness, which has been so greatly impacted by the pandemic.

The recipient of our 2021 grant was River Valley Trails for Limitless Cycling. In early summer 2022, Limitless Cycling will implement a unique model of sharing adaptive bicycles within our communities. Their free service will be available to area senior living facility residents and nonprofit organizations serving veteran and disabled communities. You'll see more elders and others on area bike trails in 2022! Click here for a press release on this innovative program!
