Community Impact Grant

Community Impact Grant

As our endowment continues to grow, so does our capacity for grant making. For many years, in the Fall, Stillwater Area Community Foundation has issued grants to area nonprofit organizations. Beginning in 2025, we have renamed this grant Community Impact Grant. The focus of this grant will rotate among four different areas year to year: Youth Enrichment, Environmental Impact, Social Support, and Vibrant Arts.

2025 will focus on Youth Enrichment, details below.

2026 will focus on Environmental Impact. The Environmental Impact Grant supports programs, projects, and events in the Stillwater area that promote environmental education, impactful outdoor experiences, and habitat restoration. Initiatives may include, but are not limited to outdoor education programs, science-based learning, habitat conservation efforts, and events to engage the community in hands-on environmental experiences.

2027 will focus on Social Support. The Social Support Impact Grant funds initiatives that enhance access to essential services like housing, food, healthcare, and transportation, fostering equity, well-being, and community resilience.

2028 will focus on Vibrant Arts. This grant supports arts organizations dedicated to enriching the community through visual, literary, and performing arts, as well as arts events, experiences, and education. The scope may extend to innovative areas fostering creativity and engagement in artistic expressions. The funding aims to inspire and cultivate a vibrant arts culture in the greater Stillwater area.
